A dental bridge is a set of 3 or more artificial teeth stuck together that get permanently cemented onto the teeth adjacent to the missing tooth/teeth. Its main function is to replace the missing tooth and restore its function and appearance. Some of the benefits of dental bridges are their strength, durability, natural tooth-like appearance and their function in preventing the opposing and adjacent teeth from moving in place of the missing tooth. Unlike removable partial dentures, a dental bridge is cemented in place and does not move around when eating or speaking. A bridge may sometimes be anchored on two or more dental implants. At Del Vecchio Dentistry (Niagara Falls Dentist) we will be happy to discuss all of your treatment options in order to replace any missing teeth
